Who is she?

Congresswoman Sarah McBride is a Democrat representing Delaware’s at-large congressional district, making history as the first openly transgender member of the U.S. Congress. A Wilmington native, Sarah has been a lifelong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and previously served in the Delaware State Senate, where she was the first openly transgender state senator in U.S. history.
